Moss Agate is usually a Clear or Milky agate, which then has inclusions of Moss like pattern.
These inclusions are often mistaken for actual moss, however the green is in fact not a plant at all. The tree-like branching pattern is caused by inclusions of a iron or magnesium mineral like chlorite that from a dendritic like structure.
With some Moss Agate you can also have the appearance of Clear Quartz with some druzy sections and pockets to add an extra beauty to this already amazing crystal.
